Identify and target potential clients through various sources such as online research, networking events, industry contacts, and cold calling.
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and opportunities for business growth.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Understand clients’ business objectives, challenges, and requirements to present suitable products/services and value propositions.
Conduct effective product/services presentations and demonstrations to clients, addressing their concerns and objections.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
Prepare agreements or contracts like MSA, SOW etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and Recruitment, to ensure smooth client on boarding and project implementation.
Maintain regular communication with existing clients to nurture relationships, identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities, and address any issues or concerns.
Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.
Qualification
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the Information Technology (IT) sector.
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
